Starting Half Term – A Day Late!

Yesterday I wrote about George being rather ill. I’m pleased to say he is feeling much better!

Yesterday was a tough day for George, he wasn’t sick again after a couple of times overnight. But he ran a fever most of the day and just hung out on the sofa looking particularly sad. He refused any food and reluctantly drunk when I insisted.

George is actually, thankfully, rather compliant when it comes to medication. He refuses liquids but now he is older we are able to give him Paracetamol tablets. Panadol Advance is suitable from age ten. he only ever accepted liquid medicine when he was really sick. If he felt it was bad enough he’d take it but it had to be really bad!

Thankfully, after an outstanding nine-hour sleep, George woke up this morning fever free, extremely happy and apparently very hungry. He went straight to the kitchen, to the freezer, and found himself a pizza. Not the most conventional breakfast, but George is not a conventional boy!

Happy to have you back Mr George, let’s do half term!
